Lawn Irrigation Description
Pop-up lawn irrigation is used to irrigate lawn areas. These supply either a jet-spray for larger lawn areas, or a rain-like spray for smaller lawn areas – minimising the risk to plants in intricate lawn and bed areas.
All pop-ups and related pipework are installed below ground. The water pressure generated by the pump (or from the mains supply) raises the pop-up and starts irrigation. Once the cycle has finished, the pop-up retracts back flush with the lawn. You will only see top of the pop-up when it is not operational – making it easier to mow the lawn.

- MP Rotator pop-ups provide a rain-like spray – thus ensuring no damage to plants and flowers.
- P2000 pop-ups provide a jet-like spray and are highly robust – ideal for large lawn areas.
- The various nozzle heads available provide a variety of precise flow-rates meaning precise water usage can be monitored and regulated.
- The pop-ups can be restricted to irrigate at certain angles and at a specific radius meaning overthrow is not an issue (except in intricate lawn areas).
Cons
- Will not perform effectively if mains water pressure is too low (if operating off a mains-led system).
- Risk of puncturing underground irrigation pipes if aerating of lawn occurs.
